dusseldorf germany

while lindsey was here we went to dusseldorf germany. you may be wondering why we chose such a strange sounding place to visit. we the reason is this, a few years ago my grandpa was the mission president in the dusseldorf mission. So dusseldorf became part of our family. our family has a love for the city, even those most of has had never been there. So linds and i were determined we would see it.

honestly...not much to see in dusseldorf...lots of shopping....but it was so fun to be there, in this city that had been so unknown to me and yet so familiar at the same time.

it was the first day of the christmas market so we wandered through market after market (some more than once) admiring the uniquly european atmosphere....it was a great start to our holiday season.
{we went to pizza hut for dinner. authentic huh? the did have corn on their pizza though...that's different}
